It’s official as of today, September 1st, I’m retired from teaching. I’m so excited for this next chapter in my life as a full time writer! I’ve been easing into my new schedule, trying to find my own rhythm and designing my writing space (I love diy) for most of the summer.
The tempo of my life has change and I’m listening to my own internal tempo, tapping my feet to this new beat. We all have a different beat, that works for us and no one else. Instead of listening to all the advice and “must do’s”, I encourage you to discover your own beat. Find your own rhythm and dance!
I think mine is somewhere between punk rock and interpretive ballads. Most days I’m juggling a bucket full of balls and I love it! Between researching, writing, marketing, publishing, designing, and planning, there’s a lot to do as an author. So, just get your feet moving and get in step with the tempo.
