A Little Encouragement
A little encouragement can go a long way in the life of a fledgling author. No matter how accomplished you are, there are always moments when you doubt if you have what it takes to compete. That is especially true for new authors. The publishing business is not for sissies.
So, when a little encouragement comes along, whether it’s a great review, or finding your latest project in the finals of a literary contest, you have to take a few moments to celebrate.
I’m excited to announce that my YA post-apocalyptic manuscript, Chasing August, is in the finals this year! Winners won’t be announced for a few weeks, but it feels good to be among the top. Next step…finding a publisher!
